Baseado nos resultados dum inquérito de tipo familiar, o A. apresenta neste trabalho o quadro dietético de 10 famílias, compreendendo 63 pessoas, pertencendo à classe popular da cidade do Mindelo, Ilha de S. Vicente, Cabo Verde.
A situação alimentar da população estudada mostra-se muito semelhante, em vários· aspectos, à encontrada pelo mesmo A. na Ilha do Sal, em 1949, analogia esta que parece poder relacionar-se com a verificada também pelo mesmo A., em trabalhos efectuados anteriormente, quanto às características somatométricas das mesmas populações.
Based in the results of a familiar type inquest, the author shows in this work the dietetic table of ten families including 63 persons belonging to the popular class of the chief-town Mindelo, in St. Vicent, Cape Vert Islands. The author says that the nutrition condition of this island is very similar to the table found in the Sal Island (1949), and that such analogy should be compared with another table repported by the sarne author in preceding works concerning to the somatometric values of the sarne populations.
