This configuration is hypothesized to enhance cell packing within a monolayered tissue, potentially aiding in precise organ development. The current study aimed to investigate this hypothesis by employing advanced deep learning techniques to achieve accurate 3D segmentation of nuclei in the zebrafish retina during its development.
