O infinitivo flexionado na diacronia do português

This paper seeks to characterise the evolution of the Portuguese inflected infinitive, by investigating how it emerged in different syntactic environments. We show that it was in the 16th-19th centuries that its distribution underwent significant changes, whereby it gradually spread, not only to the contexts in which it is found nowadays, but also to other contexts from which it is excluded in the standard variety (but not in nonstandard ones). We argue that this may be explained by assuming the existence of two inflected infinitives, one which is characterised by nominal properties and another one which exhibits properties of control.
A aquisição de passivas eventivas, resultativas e estativas em português europeu

The aim of this work is to describe the acquisition of passive structures, using a grammaticality test, to assess whether children distinguish the three types of passives (eventive, resultative and stative) and their different properties. The results reveal that, at five years old, children do not show significant differences in the judgments of grammaticality assigned to various types of passive, showing chance level performance, contrarily to the performance of six-year-old children. Grammaticality contrasts are not completely understood by children, but we can already notice a statistically significant development in the recognition of the contrast between eventive and stative passives, and resultative and stative passives.
Aquisição de interrogativas preposicionadas no português europeu

The present study focuses on the production and comprehension of PP wh-questions by European Portuguese-speaking children from 3 to 5 years old. It aims at investigating whether intervention effects also arise when there is a categorical mismatch between the displaced constituent (a PP) and the intervener (a DP) and whether movement of the preposition is more costly. The results show that intervention is not sensitive to the categorical status of the intervener. However, data from production show that pied-piping of the preposition has additional costs: children avoid it, either by chopping the preposition or by producing wh-in situ
Entre o raciocínio prático e o raciocínio jurídico. A narração de argumentos em um termo de declarações de um processo penal

Este trabalho tem como objeto de análise um termo de declarações que compõe um processo do Juizado Especial Criminal de Canoas (Rio Grande do Sul), relativo ao crime de desacato. Levando em conta quatro versões do caso concreto que foram registradas no processo, tem-se o objetivo de mostrar que a narrativa constante no depoimento em foco está a serviço da argumentação que embasa a denúncia oferecida pelo Ministério Público Federal, pois contribui para a refutação de argumentos utilizados pelos réus ainda no momento em que foram acusados. De forma a atingir nosso objetivo, segue-se o quadro teórico da Análise Textual dos Discursos (ADAM, 2011) mais especificamente o conceito de sequência argumentativa. Em consonância com esse aporte teórico, são descritas duas sequências presentes nesse depoimento. Os resultados mostram que os argumentos oriundos do raciocínio prático de uma testemunha do caso concreto, ao serem registrados no termo de declarações, tornaram-se um recurso a serviço da argumentação jurídica.
Derivação avaliativa relacionada com a mulher, no português e no russo

O objetivo do trabalho proposto é analisar, numa perspetiva contrastiva, a sufixação avaliativa, em português e em russo. O subconjunto de sufixos avaliativos é bastante rico e variável, por isso, sem ambições de abarcar tudo o que diz respeito à derivação sufixal avaliativa, serão abordados apenas os sufixos diminutivos.
