Resumo: Despite the progress made by South Asian nations, a recent analysis by the World Bank indicates that the region has faced challenges in harnessing the potential that urbanisation presents to transform their economy and join the ranks of more prosperous nations in terms of prosperity and living standards. As a result, the suburbs and outskirts of large cities have experienced a more rapid expansion of population. The economics of location and space are influenced by urbanisation's embodiment of agglomeration's density, separation, and variety. It is the main reason for the disparity in prosperity between different parts of the country.
