Abstract: | Nestlé, by launching the Nescafé Plan in 2010, committed to higher levels of corporate social responsibility, by aiming to reduce the impact of its supply chain operations on the environment and in observance of human rights. The teaching note provides the reader with an overview of how improved supply chain transparency practices positively impacted the programme’s achievements. It also elaborates the key factors leading to such practices and alternative solutions for future improvements. |
