Esta tese nasce de uma etnografia participativa, a par de entrevistas
biográficas, com duas mulheres que integram um grupo de apoio-mútuo entre
mulheres e pessoas não binárias usuárias de drogas e/ou trabalhadoras do sexo
na cidade de Lisboa. A partir do trabalho de campo e da análise dos percursos
de vida, visa-se problematizar a forma como as instituições mais ou menos
disciplinares moldam os percursos e as subjetividades das pessoas que usam
drogas. O trabalho sexual será analisado à luz da ambiguidade e da
diversidade interna que é devedora das experiências de vida retratadas.
Através de uma perspetiva feminista, procuro problematizar os binómios
vitimação/agência e exploração/empoderamento. Num último eixo de análise,
decidi mobilizar uma perspetiva transfeminista para dar conta dos percursos
de reprodução social dos sujeitos à margem da cis-hetero-sexualidade, assim
como para compreender os vetores que ligam as vivências transfemininas ao
trabalho sexual. Este trabalho porta uma vontade interpretativa de retratar
formas de feminilidade em dissidência e em lugares de margem. Ao deparar
me com percursos de vida marcados por experiências de adversidade, procuro
compor um retrato que visibilize os seus saberes e as artes de sobreviver e
resistir.
This thesis is born from a participatory ethnography, along with biographical interviews, with two women who are part of a mutual support group between women and non-binary people who use drugs and/or do sex work in the city of Lisbon. Based on fieldwork and the analysis of life courses, I aim to look at the way in which more or less disciplinary institutions shape the life courses and subjectivities of people who use drugs. Sex work will be analyzed in light of the ambiguity and internal diversity contained in the life experiences that were portrayed. Through a feminist perspective, I seek to question the binaries between victimization/agency and exploitation/empowerment. In the final moment of analysis, I mobilize a transfeminist perspective to account for the social reproduction of the subjects on the margins of cis-heterosexuality. At the same time, I aim to understand the vectors that link transfeminine experiences to sex work. This thesis carries an interpretative will to portray forms of femininity in dissent and on the margins. When faced with life paths marked by experiences of adversity, I seek to compose a portrait that sheds light on the knowledges and arts of surviving and resisting.
