Research objective Explore methodologies for expansion prioritization of cycling infrastructure in urban areas Exploit embedding techniques that learn the topology of route networks represented by graphs to prioritize investments in the expansion of cycling networks What’s new? • Graphs are used to describe the topology of the cycling network as a degraded version of the main street network. • An embedding technique is used to evaluate cycling networks by comparing their topology to street networks and identify the gaps in the cycling infrastructure that should be prioritized in its expansion. |
