Abstract: Because Impacts is a Lisbon-based sustainability consulting startup providing services to various clients aiming at impacting people and the planet. The case study showcases how they are establishing themselves in the Portuguese market. An on-going project with a festival provides a unique opportunity to target live events. The implications for strategy and positioning are discussed within the individual teaching note. Based on the learnings from the festival, Because Impacts aims at also targeting Portuguese sport events. The evaluation report develops a strategy model effectively addressing environmental and social aspects for Portuguese football clubs, giving recommendations for both clubs and consultancies.
