Gestão e curadoria da Informação em Entidades de Regulação: O caso da Entidade Reguladora da Comunicação

Abstract

O presente Relatório visa descrever o Estágio, realizado na Entidade Reguladora para a Comunicação Social (ERC), que teve início a 20 de setembro de 2021 a 31 de março de 2022, para a obtenção do grau de Mestre em Gestão e Curadoria da Informação, resultante de uma colaboração entre a Nova Information Management School e a Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas da Universidade Nova de Lisboa, após a conclusão da componente letiva. Os Objetivos do Relatório, passam pelo enquadramento do papel do gestor e curador no tratamento e preservação da informação na biblioteca e no arquivo e na atenção às políticas públicas ligadas às literacias informacionais. Pretende-se mostrar a relevância que a ERC tem no desenvolvimento da Literacia Mediática em Portugal, assim como comparar as competências das novas literacias, acentuando nesse sentido a importância do termo dos media em contexto europeu e português. Destaca-se a evolução que a Literacia Mediática tem tido em consonância com normas europeias e Políticas Públicas, nos planos nacionais, traçando um panorama de participação da ERC e de outras organizações que se interessam por esta temática. Uma última reflexão é feita sobre a ação da ERC com especial atenção para a educação para os media.

This Report aims to describe the Internship, carried out at the Regulatory Entity for Social Communication (ERC), which began on September 20, 2021 to March 31, 2022, to obtain a Master's degree in Information Management and Curation, resulting from a collaboration between the Nova Information Management School and the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, after the conclusion of the teaching component. The Report's Objectives include the framing of the manager's and curator's role in the treatment and preservation of information in the library and in the archive and in the attention to public policies related to information literacies. It is intended to show the relevance that the ERC has in the development of Media Literacy in Portugal, as well as to compare the competences of the new literacies, emphasizing in this sense the importance of the media term in the European and Portuguese context. The evolution that Media Literacy has had in line with European standards and Public Policies, at national levels, stands out, outlining an overview of the participation of the ERC and other organizations that are interested in this topic. A final reflection is made on the action of the ERC with special attention to media education.
