Proposta de Manual do Tradutor

Abstract

O presente relatório tem como objetivo reunir informações de base relevantes para estagiários de tradução ou tradutores em início de carreira. Com este fim, procede-se à descrição e análise das diferentes tarefas realizadas pelo tradutor no âmbito da sua atividade profissional, com base no conhecimento adquirido durante o estágio curricular na empresa de tradução Certas Palavras, Lda. Expõem-se ainda orientações relativas à comunicação entre empresas de tradução e tradutores e entre tradutores e clientes, procurando identificar problemas e apresentar soluções possíveis.

This report aims to gather basic information relevant to translators at the beginning of their careers or translation interns. To this end, the report describes and analyses the different tasks undertaken by a translator as part of their professional activity, based on knowledge acquired during the curricular internship in the translation agency Certas Palavras, Lda. Guidelines on communication between translation agencies and translators and between translators and clients are also presented, seeking to identify problems and offer possible solutions.
