T.H.E. Tecnologia-História-Educação: o Museu Virtual como construção de património histórico-cultural de comunidades piscatórias

Abstract

Este estudo, delineado no contexto do Observatório de Literacia Oceânica - espaço de investigação transdisciplinar e transcultural - insere-se no Centro MARE da Universidade NOVA de Lisboa. O público alvo, do referido estudo, são diferentes comunidades costeiras urbanas, localizadas na área da Costa da Caparica. As comunidades piscatórias, situadas nessa área costeira urbana da região de Almada, são social, económica, cultural e intelectualmente invisíveis. Numa perspetiva de educação intercultural e de inovação educativa, em ambientes tecnologicamente enriquecidos que possibilitem a comunicação em rede, desenvolveu-se a coconstrução de um protótipo de um Museu Virtual sobre as Artes das Pescas locais, sustentado em conceitos e conteúdos da disciplina de História. A opção metodológica - Etnografia Crítica e Design-based Research – a par com a criação dos instrumentos relacionados com a Educação Histórica, permitiu compreender de que forma se realizam as interações entre saber formal e informal dos alunos, evidenciando a tradição oral e intergeracional, em contexto. Os participantes neste projeto pertencem às comunidades piscatórias da área acima descrita e são estudantes de escolas da região da Caparica. Fazendo uso de ferramentas digitais, a coconstrução do protótipo do Museu Virtual espelha a reflexão crítica dos participantes na valorização do contexto social, cultural e histórico em que se inserem, promovendo uma literacia histórica e digital. O Museu Virtual a desenvolver propõe-se enquanto nova forma de comunicação, interação, produção e partilha de conhecimento, na valorização do património histórico cultural das comunidades piscatórias.

This study, designed in the context of the Ocean Literacy Observatory - a transdisciplinary and cross-cultural research space - is part of the MARE Centre of the NOVA University of Lisbon. Its target audience are different urban coastal communities, located in the Costa da Caparica area. The fishing communities, located in this urban coastal area of the Almada region, are socially, economically, culturally and intellectually invisible. In a perspective of intercultural education and educational innovation, in technologically enriched environments that enable network communication, the coconstruction of a prototype of a virtual museum about the local fishing arts was developed, based on concepts and contents of the History discipline. The methodological option - Critical Ethnography and Design-based Research - together with the creation of instruments related to History Education, allowed us to understand how the interactions between the formal and informal knowledge of the students take place, emphasising the oral and intergenerational tradition, in context. The participants in this project belong to the fishing communities of the area described above and are students from schools in the Caparica region. Making use of digital tools, the co-construction of the prototype of the Virtual Museum reflects the critical reflection of the participants in the valorisation of the social, cultural and historical context in which they are inserted, promoting a historical and digital literacy. The Virtual Museum to be developed is proposed as a new form of communication, interaction, production and sharing of knowledge, in the enhancement of the historical cultural heritage of fishing communities.
