Until today, there is no research dedicated to studying the Fatimid-Andalusi relationship. Most of the studies that deal with the subject, either they were in the scope of archaeology, archaeometry, art history or history, are specific and limited to one material or a particular site.
This dissertation presents a comprehensive study of all the Fatimid materials found in the Iberian Peninsula and their influences during the Xth-XIIth centuries. It collects all the results from the different academic references to build a database to be analysed according to the geographical distribution, the chronology and the amounts. Furthermore, the analysis results are compared with the historical facts to see their rapprochement to the Fatimid-Andalusi relationships.
