O presente ensaio visa propor a organização de um evento artístico-cultural sem
fins lucrativos na cidade de Lisboa, que, recusando um formato institucional, tem o principal
objetivo de criar novas condições de trabalho ao artista, reconhecendo o seu papel
enquanto comissário ou curador. Apoiando uma identidade não institucionalizada, o projeto
incluirá um ciclo de exposições em espaços informais, onde, potenciando outras formas
de construção, os artistas atuarão segundo modelos de funcionamento mais autónomos
em relação às entidades – museus e galerias – tradicionais de exibição e circulação
das artes.
This essay aims to propose the organization of a non-profit artistic and cultural event in Lisbon, which, by refusing an institutional format, wishes to create new work environment for the artist, recognizing his role as commissioner or curator. By supporting a non-institutionalized identity, the project will include a cycle of exhibitions in informal spaces, where, by promoting other construction forms, the artists would act according to more autonomous functioning models regarding traditional institutions - museums and galleries - of traditional art exhibition and circulation
