Resumo: Family Businesses are a fundamental component of the global economy, playing a vital role in driving employment and economic development. Despite their economic significance, there remains a scarcity of research addressing the non-family employees. The following research explores the differences in Life Satisfaction, Job Satisfaction, and Organisational Justice between non-family employees in Family Businesses and employees in non-family businesses. Utilizing a quantitative approach, it employs survey questionnaires to gather data from 267 participants. The findings reveal notable variations in Job Satisfaction between the two groups, with non-family employees in Family Businesses reporting higher Job satisfaction. This study contributes to both theoretical understanding and practical insights into employee experiences in different organisational contexts. It emphasizes the unique impacts of Family Business dynamics on Job satisfaction and perceptions of Organisational Justice.
