| Resumo: | Mergers and acquisitions are important components of corporate development. This case study examines the sell-side process of a nutritional supplement company alias “Ursette” to a competitor alias “Leaf”. M&A advisors supported the shareholders of Ursette on the sale to the private equity-backed company, Leaf. A private equity investor has recently acquired a majority stake in Leaf, and the acquisition of Ursette is the first growth acquisition under new ownership. Despite macroeconomic uncertainties and a tight consumer economic environment, the advisors and the shareholders were able to find a suitable partner and generated strategic value add. |
