From linear economy to circular economy - the case of nos

Abstract

Although the debate surrounding the circular economy is escalating rapidly, there remains a scarcity of specific case studies that demonstrate its practical application. This work project addressesthat gap. Using qualitative data collection methods and an inductive approach to data analysis, it attempts to understand how a telecommunication company can leverage the circular economy in practice. The research discovered two major dimensions of focus: mindset and product lifespan; and further explored their intricacies. The results of the work project serve to outline NOS’ Strategy and Action Plan for a circular economy and might aid other telecommunication companies to do likewise.
