O Ensino da Expressividade Musical

Abstract

O presente relatório surge no contexto da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada, realizada no âmbito do Mestrado em Ensino de Educação Musical no Ensino Básico. Pretendo refletir sobre as várias possibilidades de trabalhar a música de uma forma expressiva nas aulas de Educação Musical. Explorei a importância de estimular nos alunos a criatividade expressiva e de lhes transmitir que a música deve ser experienciada como uma arte viva, que transmite emoções e sentimentos a quem a ouve e que pode ser um meio de expressarmos as nossas emoções, histórias e ideias. Desta forma, não devemos preocupar-nos simplesmente com ensinar tecnicamente os alunos a tocar determinada peça musical, mas sim a senti-la e transmitir algum sentimento enquanto a tocam ou cantam. Este relatório expõe também a experiência na escola de Estágio onde pude observar várias técnicas de ensino, experienciar diversas possibilidades pedagógicas e por em prática algumas técnicas para ensinar os alunos a tocar de forma expressiva.

The present report was done in the context of the Supervised Teaching Practice, carried out in the scope of the Master in Teaching Music Education in Basic Education. I intend to reflect on the various possibilities of working musical expression in Music Education classes. I explored the importance of stimulating creativity in the students expression and to convey to them that music must be experienced as a living art, which shares emotions and feelings to those who hear it and that it can be a way of expressing our emotions, stories and ideas. So, we should not simply be concerned with technically teaching students to play a certain piece of music, but to feel it and bring feeling while playing or singing. This report also shows the experience at the Internship school where I was able to observe several teaching techniques, experience different pedagogical possibilities and put into practice some techniques to teach students to play expressively.
