Knowledge management and cultural heritage on online social platforms: UNESCO Chair in The Ocean’s Cultural Heritage case study

Abstract

The proposed theme in this dissertation is related to the knowledge shared on online social platforms, such as Instagram, Youtube, Facebook (Meta) and Twitter, by UNESCO Chair in The Ocean's Cultural Heritage. Through qualitative and quantitative techniques, the chosen research model is supported mainly by Digital Methods, such as the use of software for the data collection on these platforms. In order to respond to the main objective, which is to characterise such use of online social platforms by this UNESCO Chair, the research intends to understand and contribute to how knowledge management can assist the cultural heritage in these digital environments.

O tema proposto nesta dissertação está relacionado com o conhecimento partilhado em plataformas sociais online, como Instagram, Youtube, Facebook (Meta) e Twitter, pela Cátedra UNESCO em Património Cultural do Oceano. Por meio de técnicas qualitativas e quantitativas, o modelo de pesquisa escolhido se apoia principalmente em Métodos Digitais, como o uso de softwares para coleta de dados nessas plataformas. Para responder ao objetivo principal, que é caracterizar tal uso de plataformas sociais online por esta Cátedra UNESCO, a pesquisa pretende compreender e contribuir para como a gestão do conhecimento pode auxiliar o patrimônio cultural nesses ambientes digitais.
