Entre liturgia y materialidad

Abstract

En este artículo se presenta el estudio de un misal iluminado procedente del monasterio de Alcobaça (BNP, Alc. 252). El análisis del contenido litúrgico y de la materialidad del códice, incluyendo aquí la iluminación y la encuadernación, así como el estudio comparativo con otros manuscritos procedentes del mismo monasterio, permitirán confirmar su origen en el scriptorium alcobacense, precisar su datación, integrarlo en su contexto de producción y de uso(s), y tener en cuenta la evolución de las circunstancias litúrgico-materiales del mismo. This article presents the study of an illuminated missal from the monastery of Alcobaça (BNP, Alc. 252). The analysis of the liturgical content and the materiality of the codex, including here the illumination and the binding, as well as a comparative study with other manuscripts from the same monastery, will allow us to confirm its origin in the scriptorium of Alcobaça, to determine its dating, to understand its context of production and use(s), and to take into account the evolution of the liturgical-material characteristics of the codex.
