Uma turma; uma orquestra. A prática em conjunto

Abstract

O presente relatório foi elaborado no seguimento da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada realizada no âmbito do Mestrado em Ensino de Educação Musical no Ensino Básico. Nele, procuro descrever de um modo reflexivo e crítico, as atividades desenvolvidas ao longo do estágio realizado no ano letivo de 2020/2021. Com este relatório, pretendo evidenciar as potencialidades da disciplina de Educação Musical no crescimento e evolução dos alunos. Tendo por base a experiência da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada, bem como de outras experiências profissionais vividas no decorrer da minha prática letiva (em paralelo à frequência do estágio), realço alguns dos aspectos que considero fundamentais para incutir nas turmas um espírito de grupo coeso e focado na obtenção dos objetivos propostos à semelhança de uma Orquestra. Utilizando as diversas práticas musicais disponíveis, em prol das valências e pretensões demonstradas pelos alunos, procurei primeiramente despertar-lhes a curiosidade e o interesse pela disciplina e pelas suas potencialidades, de modo a que a aquisição de conhecimentos fosse efectuada com gosto e não por obrigação. Já com os níveis de interesse dos alunos pela disciplina mais elevados, recorri sobretudo a exercícios e atividades práticas (sempre que possível em grupo) para a transmissão de conhecimentos teóricos inerentes à disciplina, reforçando o espírito de grupo a cada dificuldade apresentada na execução dos exercícios. O relatório está dividido em três capítulos. Sendo que o primeiro se dedica à contextualização do ensino da música em Portugal, o segundo capítulo apresenta uma contextualização da prática letiva (incluindo a caracterização da escola onde se realizou o estágio) e no último capítulo, descreve de forma fundamentada, a Prática de Ensino Supervisionada nas componentes de observação e lecionação de aulas.

This report was prepared following the Supervised Teaching Practice carried out within the scope of the Master in Music Education Teaching in Basic Education. In it, I try to describe, in a reflective and critical way, the activities developed during the internship carried out in the academic year 2020/2021. With this report, I intend to highlight the potential of the Music Education discipline in the growth and evolution of students. Based on the experience of Supervised Teaching Practice, as well as other professional experiences lived during my teaching practice (in parallel to the internship frequency), I highlight some of the aspects that I consider essential to instill in the classes a cohesive group spirit and focused on achieving the proposed objectives similar to an Orchestra. Using the various musical practices available, in favor of the skills and intentions demonstrated by the students, I first sought to awaken their curiosity and interest in the discipline and its potential, so that the acquisition of knowledge was carried out with pleasure and not by obligation. With higher levels of student interest in the subject, I resorted to exercises and practical activities (whenever possible in groups) for the transmission of theoretical knowledge inherent to the discipline, reinforcing the group spirit with each difficulty presented in the execution of the exercises. The report is divided into three chapters. Since the first is dedicated to the contextualization of music teaching in Portugal, the second chapter presents a contextualization of teaching practice (including the characterization of the school where the internship took place) and in the last chapter, it describes, in a reasoned manner, the Teaching Practice Supervised in the observation and teaching components of classes.
