Recent technological developments and the occurrence of a never-before-seen pandemic altered the restaurant industry's framework, allowing for the expansion of online food services. The goal of this research is to determine what Portuguese consumers value in the online meal delivery business in Portugal, by focusing on 12 key characteristics that served as cornerstones for the development of this dissertation. The findings were plotted on a multi-dimensional perceptual map with two dimensions. Uber Eats and Glovo are similarly perceived by consumers, although Uber Eats dominates the market. Bolt Food is seen as the price leader and Takeaway.com is negatively perceived according to all attributes.
