A responsabilidade social das empresas como questão de direito e segurança

Abstract

Entitled The Social Responsibility of Companies as a Matter of Law and Security, this dissertation contemplates purposes such as the analysis of the conjuncture that gave rise to it, the reflection of the possible manifestations of this attitudinal conscience, the systematization of the different reactions of academics and managers regarding the philanthropic or opportunistic character of business practices, and the investigation of the legal position and its outlines. In methodological terms, this work focuses its research on bibliographic consultation and prolonged on-site analysis of a case study, being the validity and accuracy of the content supported by the same sources. After the deepening of this study, it can be seen that Social Responsibility is associated with a new and emerging framework of values, which is more affected by issues or by questions of an altruistic nature rather than the old profitable premises. It is this social demand that leads the business community to reposition its management principles and models, allowing decision-makers a dynamic and sustainable investment in the well-being and future of generations. In general, it will be fair to say that this project brings together elements that support the idea of a gradual awareness of society of a gradual social awareness of the subject under analysis, as well as providing us with material capable of making clear the unavoidable nature of such responsibilities on business agendas. Thus, through solidarity actions, certain companies promote a positive image among consumers, strategically reversing this conviction in an increase of business volume. Above all, it is clear from this search that a responsible business ethic needs to be articulated and coexistent with a globally prosperous society, without which the safety of the community is guaranteed.

Intitulada A Responsabilidade Social das Empresas como questão de Direito e Segurança, esta dissertação contempla propósitos como a análise da conjuntura que lhe deu origem, a reflexão das possíveis manifestações desta consciência atitudinal, a sistematização das diferentes reações de académicos e gestores quanto ao caráter filantrópico ou oportunista das práticas empresariais, e a investigação do posicionamento legal e seus contornos. Em termos metodológicos, este trabalho centra a sua pesquisa na consulta bibliográfica e na análise prolongada in loco de um caso de estudo empresarial, sendo a validade e a exatidão do conteúdo sustentadas nessas mesmas fontes. Após o aprofundamento deste estudo, constata-se que a Responsabilidade Social surge associada a um novo e emergente quadro de valores, encontrando-se este mais afeto a questões de caráter altruísta que propriamente às velhas premissas lucrativas. É esta exigência social que leva a que o seio empresarial reposicione os seus princípios e modelos de gestão, permitindo aos agentes decisórios uma aposta dinâmica e sustentável no bem-estar e futuro das gerações. De modo geral, será justo dizer que este projeto reúne elementos que sustentam a ideia de uma gradual sensibilização da sociedade para a temática em análise, assim como nos fornece matéria capaz de tornar clara a natureza incontornável de tais responsabilidades nas agendas das empresas. Assim, através de ações solidárias, certas empresas promovem uma imagem positiva junto dos consumidores, revertendo estrategicamente essa convicção num aumento do volume negocial.Acima de tudo, desta investigação resulta evidente a necessidade de articulação e coexistência de uma ética empresarial responsável com uma sociedade globalmente próspera, fundamentos sem os quais se garante a segurança da comunidade.
