A autogestão das trabalhadoras da Sogantal durante o período revolucionário português

Abstract

O presente artigo tem por objetivo expor e discutir lutas operárias durante o período revolucionário português, a partir do jornal Combate. Interessa, sobretudo, a ocupação e autogestão de fábricas maioritariamente de mulheres, e tomaremos como exemplos as fábricas têxteis Sogantal e Charminha que constituíram importante demonstração de força das trabalhadoras e da condição a que as mulheres estavam inseridas após décadas de um regime fascista. Logo, compreender este jornal enquanto uma fonte histórica sobre a relação do movimento operário e género é de suma importância por duas razões: apresentam e circulam as lutas operárias pela voz dos próprios trabalhadores e colocam no debate as especificidades das trabalhadoras, a partir de sua identificação enquanto mulheres, resultantes de uma complexa relação social. This article aims to expose and discuss workers’ struggles during the portuguese revolutionary period, from the newspaper Combate. Above all, the occupation and self-management of factories mainly of women are interested, and we will take as examples the textile factories Sogantal and Charminha which were an important demonstration of the workers’ strength and the condition to which women were inserted after decades of a fascist regime. Therefore, understanding this newspaper as a historical source on the relationship of the labor movement and gender is very brief for two reasons: they present and circulate the workers ‘struggles by the workers’ own voice and put in the debate the specificities of the workers, from their identification as women, resulting from a complex social relationship.
