| dc.description.abstract | O início do século XXI coincide com um momento sociocultural onde a música popular, inserida no contexto do ciberpunk, tem como tendência aprática de apropriação de conteúdos audiovisuais do passado.Neste artigo proponho uma discussão sobre o papel da literacia audiovisual naprodução, circulação e receçãodemúsica ciberpunk. Cruzando o conceito de retrofuturo com o imaginário estético proposto pelo synthwave, analiso espaços, práticas e músicas que demonstram a importância da memória no ato de fruição estética.
