La creciente pérdida de biodiversidad trae consigo cuestionamientos a la visión utilitarista de la naturaleza. Una manifestación de ello es la urbanización creciente y la consecuente pérdida de suelos, ecosistemas y modos de vida rurales. En ese contexto, desde la Biblioteca Agroecológica El Uval (BAU), ubicada en el borde urbano rural de Bogotá, Colombia, se abordan preguntas acerca de la relación ser humano-naturaleza. Allí, la práctica de la agroecología es una herramienta para la construcción de comunidad y reflexión. En este documento, presento el análisis del diseño y la ejecución de un proyecto de promoción de lectura desarrollado por la BAU entre agosto y octubre de 2023. Dicho proyecto, combinó formas expresivas como la lectura, la escritura y la ilustración con ejercicios de escucha y reflexión. Con el objetivo de integrar la escucha como herramienta activa en la construcción de relacionamientos conscientes con otras formas de vida, se realizaron jornadas de recorridos territoriales y creación de contenidos. Contando con la participación de jóvenes, niños y adultos en ejercicios creativos y jornadas colectivas se fortaleció el trabajo de la BAU a la vez que se establecieron metodologías de reflexión aural acerca de la conformación del entorno de borde urbano rural.
The increasing loss of biodiversity brings with it questions about the utilitarian vision of nature. A manifestation of this is the growing urbanization and the consequent loss of soils, ecosystems, and rural livelihoods. In this context, the Agroecological Library El Uval (BAU), located in the rural urban edge of Bogota, Colombia, addresses questions about the relationship between human beings and nature. There, the practice of agroecology is a tool for community building and reflection. In this paper, I present the analysis of the design and implementation of a reading promotion project developed by BAU between August and October 2023. This project combined expressive forms such as reading, writing and illustration with listening and discussion exercises. With the objective of integrating listening as an active tool in the construction of conscious relationships with other forms of life, days of territorial tours and content creation were carried out. With the participation of young people, children and adults in creative exercises and collective workshops, the work of the BAU was strengthened and at the same time aural reflection methodologies were established about the conformation of the urban-rural border environment.
