Projects keep on growing at a very fast rate in the world today, both in the private and public sectors. Sadly, the failure rates are also related. There have been reports showing organizations placing high importance on project performance, however the failure rates remain high. Agile methodologies were introduced to help comb and reduce the risk of project failures. Based on the research model of (team collaboration, team communication, team leadership and organizational culture) to assess (agile project success). A questionnaire-based survey was done, resulting in 221 valid responses. This research points out the vital importance of leadership and communication in ensuring agile project success, showing that these factors outweigh team collaboration alone. Although team collaboration is a key aspect of agile methodologies, its direct influence on project outcomes is lessened by the already collaborative nature of agile teams. This awareness offers theoretical and practical recommendations for organizations to grow and improve their agile practices and achieve greater project success.pt_PT
