In an automotive industry undergoing rapid transformation driven by sustainability imperatives, shifting consumer demands, and technological disruption, companies must continuously realign their strategies to remain competitive. The Business in Practice simulation provided a three week opportunity to manage Flash, a fictional automotive manufacturer, across 24 business quarters. This paper analyses the firm’s trajectory with a focus on Strategy, Human Resources, and Operations, examining how cross-functional coordination supported Flash’s transition toward a fully electric vehicle portfolio. Additionally, a personal reflection explores two critical incidents in team dynamics, highlighting the impact of uneven commitment and the need for emotional regulation under pressure.
