O presente relatório, elaborado sob orientação científica da Prof. Dr. Rogério Puga (Inglês) e da Prof.ª Doutora Clarisse Costa Afonso (Alemão) para cumprimento dos requisitos necessários à obtenção do grau de Mestre em Ensino de Inglês e de Língua Estrangeira (Alemão) no 3.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e no Ensino Secundário, expõe o trabalho desenvolvido no âmbito da Prática de Ensino Supervisionado em Inglês e Alemão, na Escola Secundária Fernão Mendes Pinto (Almada), no ano letivo de 2015-2016, sob a orientação da Dr.ª Maria Constança Maia Alves (Inglês) e da Dr.ª Maria Esmeraldina Mourinho Gralha (Alemão). Esta dissertação tem como objetivo demonstrar como se desenvolve a competência intercultural comunicativa nas aulas de inglês e alemão, trazendo à atenção o papel do professor na promoção do respeito por outras culturas e na desconstrução de estereótipos. Para além disto, apresentamos ainda uma caracterização do contexto de trabalho e do núcleo de estágio, uma exposição das visitas de estudo realizadas e dos projetos desenvolvidos e, por último, uma breve reflexão final sobre a totalidade do trabalho empreendido
The present report, written under the scientific guidance of Professor Rogério Puga (English) and Professor Clarisse Costa Afonso (German) so as to meet the necessary requirements for the obtainment of the Master’s degree in Teaching English and a Foreign Language (German) in the 3rd Cycle of Basic Education and in Secondary Education, gives an account of the work done in connection to the Supervised Teaching Practice in English and German, at the Fernão Mendes Pinto Secondary School (Almada), during the 2015-2016 school year, under the guidance of teachers Maria Constança Maia Alves (English) and Maria Esmeraldina Mourinho Gralha (German). This work intended to show the applicability of the intercultural communicative approach in English and German classes, focusing the teacher’s role within the deconstruction of stereotypes and the promotion of cultural awareness. Besides this, it also includes a characterisation of the context in which the work took place and of the traineeship group’s organisational structure, an account of the field trips that were organised as well as the projects that were developed and, to conclude, a brief global reflection on the totality of the work undertaken.
