Résultats obtenus au cours de l’enquête sanitaire qui eut lieu en 1960 dans la région de la Mission de Fomentation et Peuplement du Zambeze. L’enquête a révélé l’existence de fortes incidence de la bilharziose à hematobium, l’existence de plusieurs foyers de bilharziose à mausoni, la présence de la W. bancrofti le long du Zabemze, des taux appréciables de l’ancylostomiase et encore l’existence du paludisme par falciparum vivax et malariae.
The author presents the results obtained in the sanitary inquiry which took place in 1960 in the area of the Mission of Development and Settlement of the Zambeze. This inquiry revealed the existence of a great incidence of a great incidence of bilharziasis hematobium, the existence of several focuses of bilharziasis mausoni, the presence of W. Bancrofti along the Zambeze appreciable rates of ancyclostomiasis and yet the existence of paludism by falciparum vivax and malariae.
