Do canto dos pássaros à criação musical: tecnologia e criação no ensino de educação musical no 2º ciclo do ensino básico

O presente relatório foi realizado no âmbito da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada (PES), do Mestrado em Ensino de Educação Musical no 2.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, da Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas da Universidade Nova de Lisboa. A PES decorreu numa sede de Agrupamento inserida no programa nacional Territórios Educativos de Intervenção Prioritária (TEIP), revelando um contexto socioeconómico e cultural diversificado, assim como uma vasta oferta complementar de projetos e atividades, promovendo o desenvolvimento de competências em várias áreas. Na primeira parte do relatório, são descritas as observações pedagógicas em turmas do 5º e 6º ano do 2.º ciclo do ensino básico, a caracterização da escola, das turmas e das outras atividades no âmbito dos clubes “tec Música” e “clube de Música”. Também é analisada a prática do professor estagiário, através das aulas observadas e da reflexão das suas intervenções. Na segunda parte, o conteúdo principal, foca-se no tema privilegiado da PES, denominado por “Do canto dos pássaros à criação musical” trabalhado com uma turma de 5.º anos, com 20 alunos. O objetivo foi desenvolver a literacia digital na criação musical e sustentar as práticas dos alunos em Metodologias que visam o movimento, sistema não convencional e prática vocal. Foram assim desenvolvidas, atividades de criação e experimentação a partir do tema “pássaros”, de imitação tímbrica, rítmica e de dinâmica. Transversalmente, foi trabalhada a canção “Blackbird”, com letra adaptada em português, que serviu de base para a gravação na plataforma digital “bandlab”. O estudo realizado, de natureza qualitativa, revelou que esta intervenção promoveu uma consolidação de conceitos teóricos com uma prática musical aliada à criatividade e à exploração dos sons da natureza, utilizando e aprendendo tecnologia.
This report was carried out within the scope of the Supervised Teaching Practice (PES), of the Master's Degree in Music Education in the 2nd Cycle of Basic Education, at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of the Nova University of Lisbon. The STP took place at a school cluster within the national Priority Intervention Educational Territories (TEIP) program, revealing a diverse socioeconomic and cultural context, as well as a wide range of complementary projects and activities, promoting the development of skills in various areas. The first part of the report describes the pedagogical observations in 5th and 6th grade classes of the second cycle of elementary school, the characteristics of the school, the classes, and other activities within the "Tech Music" and "Music Club" clubs. The intern teacher's practice will also be analyzed through the observed classes and reflections on their interventions. The second part, the main content, focuses on the project implemented at STP, called "From Birdsong to Musical Creation," which aimed to develop digital literacy in musical creation and support students' practices in methodologies focused on movement, unconventional systems, and vocal practice. Thus, creative and experimental activities were developed based on the theme of "birds," including timbral, rhythmic, and dynamic imitation. The song "Blackbird" was also developed, with lyrics adapted into Portuguese, which served as the basis for recording on the digital platform "bandlab." This work promoted the consolidation of theoretical concepts with musical practice combined with creativity and the exploration of the sounds of nature, using and learning technology.
