Durante uma missão de estudo que fizeram ao arquipélago de Cabo Verde, em 1946-47, os AA. encontraram alguns casos de tinha do couro cabeludo em nativos das ilhas do Sal, Boa Vista e S. Nicolau, dos quais cinco eram devidos ao T. ferrugineum e dez ao M. felineum.
During the time that a m1ss1on of studies was in Cap Verde, in 1946-47, the authors found some cases of tinea capitis among the natives from the islands of Sal, Boavista and S. Nicolau, of which five cases were due to T. fermgineum and ten to M. felineum.
