| dc.description.abstract | A década de 80 foi marcada por um processo de desagregação do modelo industrial que vinha a ser construído no Ocidente. oi também um período de fragmentação do mundo operário na grande maioria dos países industrializados, onde o fordismo e o keynesianismo revelaram os limites das suas potencialidades, abrindo caminho à emergência de um novo regime de acumulação. Em Portugal, este período de reestruturação foi também marcado pela integração na CEE, assim como pela recente memória dos anos revolucionários de 1974-1975. Partindo do caso da região de Setúbal, onde um movimento operário com fortes tradições de luta conviveu com uma profunda crise industrial, pretende-se refletir acerca do processo de crise e reestruturação da economia portuguesa nos anos 80, acompanhando o processo de recomposição operária. Para tal, a história oral será uma peça central enquanto instrumento de inquérito ao passado e ao presente em que este passado é recordado, permitindo aprofundar o conhecimento sobre a subjectividade operária num quadro de composição, decomposição e recomposição de classe. In general terms, the 1980’s were characterized by the disintegration of the industrial model that had been built in the Western world up until then. This period was also one of fragmentation of the working class as a whole in most industrialized countries, where Fordism and Keynesianism revealed the limits of their potential by paving the way for the emergency of a new regime of capitalist accumulation. In Portugal, this period was also marked by the country’s accession to the European Economic Community (EEC) and by the recent memory of the revolutionary years of 1974-1975. Starting from the case of the region of Setúbal, where a working class movement with strong traditions of struggle coexisted with a deep industrial crisis, it is intended to reflect on the process of crisis and restructuring of the Portuguese economy in the 80s, following the process of workers' recomposition. For this, oral history will be a centerpiece as an instrument of inquiry into the past and present in which the past is remembered, allowing to deepen the knowledge about the subjectivity of the workers within a framework of class composition, decomposition and recomposition. | en |
