Data-driven solutions paired with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning´s rapid expansion are increasingly becoming an interest topic for companies who want to keep up with the current trends. But there is a gap between the knowledge already established in the enterprise world and the enterprise realm and the burgeoning techniques that are continually emerging. The developed project aimed to fill that gap transferring knowledge from the new developers to the business environment while developing a real-world use-case for budgeting and performance control using time-series forecasting. Using python and recurring to methods like ARIMA and Prophet we could develop a successful application which can compete with the already existing procedures while also serve as a catalyst for generating interest in these evolving fields and set the pace for new upcoming use cases in the area.
