O autor refere-se ao documento de trabalho sobre o ensino do Saneamento nos cursos de Saúde Pública para médicos, por ele apresentado a pedido da Comissão Organizadora da Reunião dos Diretores das Escolas de Saúde Pública da Europa que se realizou em Ankara em Outubro de 1966.
Depois de discutir sumariamente os pontos a ter em consideração sobre a seleção dos alunos e sobre a organização geral dos cursos de Saneamento para médicos, apresenta um programa de ensino que deve ser tomado em consideração para os cursos cuja organização se considera adequada.
Termina referindo-se à duração e distribuição do tempo consagrado ao ensino e às provas que se devem considerar para se julgar do aproveitamento dos candidatos ao diploma de Saúde Pública.
The author refers to the working document that he prepared at the invitation of the Organizing Committee of the Meeting of the Directors of the European Schools of Public Health which took place in Ankara in October 1966. After discussing briefly the points to be taken into consideration for the selection of students and on the general organization of the training courses in Public Health for physicians. he presents a brief outline of the curriculum that should be envisaged for the adequated organisation of the Teaching Courses on Environmental Health. He also refers to the duration and distribution devoted to teaching and to the means to evaluate the progress made by the students candidates to the diploma in Public Health.
