Utilizaremos exclusivamente documentação jurídica, mais em concreto, os costumes e foros das cidades de Ribacôa (Alfaiates, Castelo Melhor, Castelo Rodrigo e Castelo Bom), Guarda, Santarém Torres Novas, Évora e Beja. Pretendemos, por um lado, dar a conhecer como as populações se relacionavam com os animais, tendo como eixo chave as situações de conflito e, por outro lado, observar as soluções e as medidas adotadas pelas autoridades municipais para resolver os problemas causados por ambas as partes. The main goal of this article is to analyse the daily experiences between populations and animals in Portuguese towns in the Middle Ages. We will exclusively use legal sources, more exactly, the Commons and Laws of Ribacôa cities (Alfaiates, Castelo Bom, Castelo Rodrigo and Castelo Bom), Guarda, Santa Torres Novas, Évora and Beja.
