ALMPs represent a large financial effort for the Government, hence, it is important to measure their effectiveness. The dissertation pursues an analysis of administrative data of IEFP from 2012 to 2019. An OLS analysis assesses the effects that the program has on unemployment spell duration after participation and on recurrence of unemployment. The results on duration show that the program increases duration of the unemployment spell, however, it decreases the probability of re-unemployment.
