For this purpose, a regression analysis analyzes which variables impact stock returns and learn if gender quotas affect stock returns. This study found that investing only in companies in the top percentile of women on board does not deliver superior returns. Furthermore, OLS and differences-in-differences regression show that gender diversity and gender quota do not influence stock returns.engGender diversityGender quotasStock returnsFinancial performanceCorporate governanceBoard of directorsGender diversity and stock returns: evidence from the S&P500master thesis203311981
