Using qualitative methods, including semi-structured interviews with individuals aged 55–70, the research examines the interplay between different aggregate dimensions. Findings suggest that retirees navigate this transition through continued productivity, leisure, or community involvement. Additionally, the study highlights the need for tailored HRM strategies, such as phased retirement and identity-focused transition programs, to support retirees’ well-being and ensure a smooth transition from work to post-retirement life.engHuman resource managementWork-related identityPersonal identityOrganizational behaviorRetirementWork transition to retirement and individual identity: implications for human resource management- analysis of post- retirement engagementmaster thesis203959639
