It is high time to recognize, explore and harness the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the proper purpose of responsible consumerism (RC). Therefore, this exploratory work takes a new perspective and assesses the potentials of AI to contribute to RC by means of expert interviews. The results allow for identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats when integrating AI as a strategic tool for businesses to support sustainable consumer decisions and should be regarded as an impulse for future investigations and provide food for thought among business insiders for subsequent discussions.engConsumer behaviorSustainable developmentTechnology strategyArtificial intelligenceSustainable development goalsSdg 12Responsible consumerismConsumer decisionArtificial intelligence as a strategic tool to contribute to responsible consumerism - using expert interviews to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of integrating Ai to support sustainable consumer behaviormaster thesis203050134
