The original project was the export of a power barge to Cuba. However, the project was rejected and it was crucial to focus on an alternative. Two options were analyzed: implement the barge in another country or focusing on a different project in Cuba. Both strategies took into consideration the firm’s capabilities and market opportunities. Final results showed Mozambique and Senegal as the countries with highest potential to export the barge while the exploration of Caribbean Drydock is the most suitable project for the company in Cuba.engEnergyInternationalizationDeveloping countriesMarket selectionWest sea: an analysis of the internationalization processmaster thesis201713675201714795
