A data desta cunhagem, o seu contexto político e fiscal, bem como o principal interveniente são identificados neste artigo.The present paper interprets and transcribes an important late fourteenth-­‐century documentary fragment. The original document was likely a record of an audit by the royal officers, but its considerable importance lies in providing the details of a hitherto unkwnon fractional coin: the peelado.
