Motivated by a personal case involving multiple sclerosis treatment delays, it analyzes challenges like shipment issues, cold chain failures, and low digital maturity. Through interviews with healthcare and tech professionals, the study highlights blockchain’s benefits immutability, decentralization, and tamper-proof tracking. Findings stress the need for gradual, collaborative adoption starting with high-risk drugs. The thesis concludes by promoting cross-sector cooperation and pilot projects to ensure the secure, ethical, and practical integration of blockchain in healthcare.engBlockchainPharmaceutical supply chainSupply chain managementDigital product passportDrug traceabilityTransparencyCounterfeit preventionHealthcare innovationTechnology adoptionSmart contractBlockchain and digital product passports for securing medicines: towards a transparent pharmaceutical supply chainmaster thesis204132754
