We find that on average willingness to pay is higher for business training compared with consulting services. Information provision increases the likelihood of firms preferring private provision. Finally, firms in treatment groups were more likely to show no interest in the services offered and the information provision was not successful in eliciting interest, measured by a behavioural text positive response rate.engInformationDevelopment economicsGenderTake-upMicroenterprise developmentBusiness trainingTraining or consulting?
