Produzido, coordenado e apresentado pela jornalista e editora de internacional da RTP Márcia Rodrigues, o programa foi para o ar pela primeira vez em 2020, estendendo-se até à presente data. Este relatório de estágio estuda a amostra dos 41 episódios que foram emitidos durante o ano de 2022 para verificar a forma como este programa seleciona, trata e, posteriormente, transmite a informação internacional à sua audiência. De igual modo, procura ainda relacionar a construção do programa com o jornalismo internacional, bem como alguns dos conceitos teóricos e práticos que esta especialidade jornalística emprega. Para o fazer, visualizaram-se todos estes episódios para de seguida se analisar alguns dos aspetos mais predominantes do seu conteúdo, nomeadamente: os países e áreas geográficas cobertas, os assuntos e temas recorrentes, os correspondentes internacionais e enviados especiais, os comentadores convidados e ainda as duas rúbricas finais do programa: “Livro da semana” e “Esta semana na História”. Seguindo o seu nome e subsequente pergunta de partida, o presente relatório de estágio conclui que tipo de visão o programa Janela Global passa à sua audiência sobre um mundo em constante alteração e tumulto. Em grande parte, são os conflitos e tensões que constituem esta visão da atualidade internacional, com a guerra bastante presente. O mundo apresentado descreve-se ainda pelas áreas geográficas que mais foram notícias ao longo do programa: a Europa, a América do Norte e a Ásia.Janela Global is a weekly newscast which is broadcast every Friday night on RTP 3 and dedicated to world news. Produced, coordinated, and presented by RTP journalist and international editor Márcia Rodrigues, this newscast first aired in 2020, and is still on air today. This internship report studies the sample of the forty-one episodes that were broadcast during the year 2022 to verify the way this newscast selects, treats and, subsequently, transmits the international information to its audience. Likewise, it also seeks to relate the producing of this newscast to the use of international journalism, as well as some of the theoretical and practical concepts that this journalistic speciality employs. To do so, all these episodes were visualised so as to analyse some of the most predominant aspects of their content, namely: the countries and geographic areas covered, the recurring subjects and themes, the international correspondents and special envoys, the guest commentators and also the two final items of the newscast: "Book of the week" and "This week in History". Following its name and subsequent starting question, this internship report concludes what kind of vision the newscast Janela Global conveys to its audience about a world in constant change and turmoil. To a large extent, conflicts and tensions constitute this view of the current international affairs, with war very much present.
