Its methodology was based on a statistical analysis of a public opinion survey conducted in the country in 2018, using multivariable linear regressions to study the relationship between conflict, national identity and trust, both among ethnic groups and towards political institutions. The study found that conflict establishes a negative correlation with these factors, highlighting the adverse effects of a weak capability of the central state in mediating and solving these issues.engEthnicityPoliticsInstitutionsIdentityConflictNavigating ethnic conflict: implications for national identity and trust in government institutions in Guinea Bissaumaster thesis203605250
