Para tal procura-se articular conhecimentos históricos, culturais e científicos junto da comunidade escolar, num trabalho transversal às áreas do património material e imaterial. Roots is a project of Cultural Mediation and Heritage Education, developed in the academic year 2013/2014, which aims to stimulate and develop skills of young students of the 2nd and 3rd cycles of basic education in the area of heritage. The main output expected is a so-called "workshop of memory" (a small school museum), keeping alive the roots of the past.
