Aprender com a imagem: o uso didático no ensino da História

Abstract

O presente relatório é o resultado de uma prática investigativa realizada no âmbito da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada (PES), integrada no Mestrado em Ensino da História no 3.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e no Ensino Secundário, que teve lugar nos Salesianos de Lisboa, no ano letivo 2017/2018, sobre a utilização didática da imagem no ensino da História. Este trabalho tem como principal objetivo refletir sobre a utilização da imagem como uma componente significativa da aprendizagem no ensino da História. Pretendeu-se, por isso, desenvolver a literacia visual como uma competência essencial, abordando o documento iconográfico de forma crítica, efetiva e criativa, tendo em conta três dimensões: ver, pensar e questionar.

The presente report is the result of na investigation carried out in the framework of the Supervised Teaching Practice, integrated in the Master of Teaching History in the 3rd cycle of Basic Education and in Secondary Education, which took place at the school Salesianos de Lisboa, in the academic year 2017/2018, on the didactic use of the image in the teaching of History. This work has the main objective to reflect to the use of the image as a significant componente of learning in the teaching of History. It was intended, therefore, to develop visual literacy as an essencial skill, approaching the iconographic document in a critical, effective and creative way, taking into account three dimensions: seeing, thinking and questioning.
