To understand whether or not should Mastercard partner with a cryptocurrency exchange based in Portugal for the launch of a crypto card solution, the current efforts of Mastercard’s competitor Visa in the crypto cards field were analysed. Based on publicly available data only, a metric was created that predicts the percentage of the volume of transactions of a cryptocurrency exchange in Portugal that is transacted in crypto cards. Forecasts for the revenues for the current year of 2022 were depicted, considering a best, normal, and worse scenario of a crypto card solution in partnership with particular Portuguese based exchanges-pt_PT
