Abstract: This paper studies the implementation of the 5S methodology in CDCL, a Luxembourgish construction company, through my direct participation in construction sites as a Lean Assistant Intern.I address the main actions implemented in order to improve the safety, the work conditions, the productivity and the image of construction sites through the implementation of standards: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize and Sustain.The successful management of change, the implementation of concrete and visible actions and the valorization of every employees contributed to the success of the 5S in CDCL
