The Division has recently almost doubled the number of independent research groups and currently includes 13 Laboratories. Their collaboration with the existing groups at LA will allow the strengthening of research in fundamental areas such as pathogenic bacteria metabolism, bacterial cell wall synthesis, bacterial cell-cell communication and bacterial cellular and developmental biology
